Make yourself at home at Tarpon Cove with two bedrooms located on the first floor. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a memory foam mattress. The spare bedroom has two queen size beds. Both bedrooms have access to a screened-in deck overlooking beautiful palm trees, a perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise each morning.

Walk upstairs to a bright, spacious living room, dining room and open kitchen with the view of palm tree tops and the Gulf of Mexico in the horizon. This open floor plan allows for 6 people to sleep, eat and play comfortably. The beautiful granite-top kitchen comes fully stocked for all of your cooking needs including pots, pans, cutlery, and tableware. After grabbing your coffee, walk out onto the top deck right off of the kitchen and enjoy watching those passing by, listen to the birds singing and the rustling of the trees.

Tarpon Cove comes fully stocked with your beach living needs. With beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys and games for kids, this home makes it fun for everyone!

Since you ‘have to’ take a boat ride (we know you are protesting), you will also be able to experience wildlife and nature at it’s finest. From dolphin watching on the north end of the island (Dolphin Beach) to nature walks in the preserve and untouched natural beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, to never forgetting sunsets, this tropical paradise makes for a perfect relaxing getaway. Tarpon Cove is located on the north end of the island, (the quiet side). A quick ride by golf cart or bicycle allows for quick access to the beaches at various spots on the island, the two pools at North Captiva Island Club, (membership included with your stay which allows use of kayaks and bikes) or the 3 restaurants on the island if you just don’t feel like cooking! Take a walk to Tarpon Cove’s private dock where you can peacefully fish in the incredibly fish-filled water of Pine Island Sound or use it to launch the kayak in the water which is included with your stay.

Tarpon Cove is available for rent throughout the year. This remote location of North Captiva Island is accessible only by ferry or private boat. This private island community is just 3 miles offshore, part of the Lee Island Coast barrier island chain in South West Florida. The nearest airport to fly to would be in Fort Myers, FL. Here, you won’t find any cars, any crowds, any paved roads or even any grocery stores. Those with smaller children, you don’t even need your car seats. Just hop on the golf cart with your kiddos and GO!

North Captiva Island offers a combination of that small town feel with paradise to give you that perfect beach vacation!

We own a 2019, 12 passenger Mercedes Sprinter. We will pick you up from the airport. We will transport you to the water taxi on Pine Island. And we will give you a tour of the island.

If time allows we can stop at any grocery store to pick up your groceries or a grocery service can be provided. All you do is send us a grocery list we take care of the shopping and delivery to the Island so it can be at the house when you arrive! A complimentary case of Kirkland water from Costco is provided to get hydrated from the start.
