Hop on your golf cart and set out to explore! The only transportation on the island is electric golf carts and bicycles!

As new owners, we are making many updates, including the addition one of the largest private pools on the island. This will be coming in 2021. Until then, you have an expansive and unobstructed beach all for your use only. No dragging chairs and coolers! It is yours for the week. This part of the beach is private and very close to North Captiva’s famous Dolphin Beach. This area is a perfect spot to relax, float, and swim. It is ideal for families with children of all ages. We have sand toys and plenty of chairs that you can leave out for your stay. Another wonderful feature of the SEA LA VIE beach is that even during high tides, you still have a large beach to play. You can stay beachside all day without losing your sand castles!!

We hope you enjoy cooking and will use this week to try new foods and experiment with local flavors! This kitchen is set up for foodies!! All the equipment you need to make a gourmet meal or something simple. You have outdoor grills (propane) to create your next bbq masterpiece by the sea. No detail is left behind! Your sleeping accomodations are comfortable and updated. The upstairs VIP Tranquiltiy suite comes with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. This suite boasts a one of a kind beach and water view . This suite opens to a private deck where you can watch the sunrise over the sound, sit, and enjoy your morning coffee. Adjacent to the spacious master bedroom en-suite bath is a nursery/toddler room which is equipped with both a crib and a toddler bed (all linens for both supplied.) Changing table and baby bath too!

Since you ‘have to’ take a boat ride (we know you are protesting), you will also be able to experience wildlife and nature at it’s finest. From dolphin watching on the north end of the island (Dolphin Beach) to nature walks in the preserve and untouched natural beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, to never forgetting sunsets, this tropical paradise makes for a perfect relaxing getaway. Tarpon Cove is located on the north end of the island, (the quiet side). A quick ride by golf cart or bicycle allows for quick access to the beaches at various spots on the island, the two pools at North Captiva Island Club, (membership included with your stay which allows use of kayaks and bikes) or the 3 restaurants on the island if you just don’t feel like cooking! Take a walk to Tarpon Cove’s private dock where you can peacefully fish in the incredibly fish-filled water of Pine Island Sound or use it to launch the kayak in the water which is included with your stay.

Tarpon Cove is available for rent throughout the year. This remote location of North Captiva Island is accessible only by ferry or private boat. This private island community is just 3 miles offshore, part of the Lee Island Coast barrier island chain in South West Florida. The nearest airport to fly to would be in Fort Myers, FL. Here, you won’t find any cars, any crowds, any paved roads or even any grocery stores. Those with smaller children, you don’t even need your car seats. Just hop on the golf cart with your kiddos and GO!

We own a 2019, 12 passenger Mercedes Sprinter. We will pick you up from the airport. We will transport you to the water taxi on Pine Island. And we will give you a tour of the island.

If time allows we can stop at any grocery store to pick up your groceries or a grocery service can be provided. All you do is send us a grocery list we take care of the shopping and delivery to the Island so it can be at the house when you arrive! A complimentary case of Kirkland water from Costco is provided to get hydrated from the start.
